Shelsley Walsh in new partnership with Classic Car Auctions

The Midland Automobile Club and Shelsley Walsh have just confirmed a new partnership with Classic Car Auctions, the Warwickshire based auction house that has seen seen significant growth during the last few years selling ‘everyman’ classic cars to a value of approximately £50,000. CCA has been created by the highly respected team from Silverstone Auctions.

MAC members will now benefit from special terms when using Classic Car Auctions to sell their cars while the Shelsley Walsh venue will see additional CCA branding and a presence at all events including the popular breakfast clubs throughout the 2018 season.

Guy Lees-Milne, Director of Classic Car Auctions, said, “We are thrilled to enter this new partnership with MAC, one of the oldest clubs in the world. The club has a fantastic history and following, but as our neighbours here in the Midlands we couldn’t think of a better partner. We look forward to attending the clubs many events, socials and hill climbs at Shelsley Walsh as well as to welcoming its members at our sales.”

Antony Harper, Chairman of the Midland Automobile Club said, “To have Classic Car Auctions as a partner of the MAC and Shelsley Walsh is a huge step forward for the club and our growing membership who can take advantage of preferential terms with CCA as we go forward into our 113th year. We have many highlights planned during the season so it’s a pleasure to have them with us.”

Shelsley Walsh is the oldest motor sport venue in the world still on it’s original course having started in 1905, this partnership with CCA cementing its place in the British motor sport and classic world with seven weekends of competitive action on the hill in 2018, the first of which is over the weekend of May 5th and 6th.
