Development Roadmap – July 2017

For July on Classic Car Auction Results, it’s all about design and the front end! We’ve rolled out so much functionality, and got so excited about what we’ve been able to produce that we’ve neglected how we look a bit, and how the most important people – you guys, our users and subscribers – actually navigate the site. So we’re spending July looking at that! But, as usual, let’s take a look back at June:

1. We added lots of functionality for auction houses, like an ability to promote individual houses, tracking metrics and other advertising tools.
2. We build more features around the saved searches, so you can do more with the cars you save such as see upcoming cars for each saved car type, giving you much more visibility of when that perfect classic comes up for auction!
3. We can now import and update auctions and lots, greatly expanding the range of auction houses we can work with, and also allowing us to improve search by allowing alternative names. If you’re an auction house and want to be featured, get in touch!

So let’s look at July – it’s all about design. We will be:

– improving the sign up page
– making it clearer what the different levels of subscription permit you
– clearing up and improving the profile page, so you can find things easier and manage your subscription, including upgrading

As ever, hope you appreciate these updates, and we’d love to hear from you – get in touch!
