Fast Fords are selling like hot cakes at the moment and appreciation for anything brisk and with a blue oval seems to be rife in 2017. Enter this Ford focus RS for sale with Classic Car Auctions at their upcoming auction at the NEC classic restoration show. The fastest and most capable of the Mk2 breed and with only 45 miles on the clock this could prove to be most expensive we’ve seen.
‘This cool blue Ford has hardly turned a wheel…’
Were the choice words of CCA but it’s true, barely physically or in anger has this Ford really been used. Still well within it’s run in period this RS scores 134 /135 on the CCA inspection and is said to be in excellent condition. As it should be with only 45 miles.
Previously we have seen Ford Focus RS’ smash their estimates and we’re quietly rooting for this one do follow suit. The previous low mileage Focus RS to sell in at a UK auction had 1,800 miles – and that sold for £41,063 with Silverstone Auctions. The blue RS for sale this weekend is expected to fetch between £32,000 – £36,000 but if previous trends are anything to go by, we might be reporting on a much higher figure next week.
